OKC man arrested after pit bull attacks two police officers

5/13/2018 - OKC, OK -- An Oklahoma City man was arrested after a pit bull reportedly attacked and bit two police officers.

Around 6am, yesterday, police officers were reportedly executing a search warrant when a pit bull approached them in an aggressive manner. The residence being searched was in the 2100 block of N. Prospect in Oklahoma City.

Shortly after coming into contact with the officers the pit bull attacked two of the officers and attempted to attack a third.

The dog was then shot and killed.

One of the police officers was treated and released from a local hospital for a dog bite to his leg. The other did not require hospitalization because the bites were limited to the officer's ballistic vest.

Police took Andrew Ingram into custody at the scene for possession of drug proceeds and drug paraphernalia. There has been no confirmation as to whether or not Ingram was the owner of the pit bull.
