Midwest City man sentenced to 30 years in prison following DUI crash that killed three

5/19/2017 - Oklahoma County -- A Midwest City man, whose DUI related head-on collision killed two adults and one child, has been sentenced to 30 years in prison.

David Steven Blair II, 36, pleaded guilty Wednesday to three counts of second-degree murder in the deadly April 17, 2016 crash.

Blair, reportedly high on PCP, was driving along I-35 in Edmond when he drove into the media and crossed into oncoming traffic. Blair's vehicle struck a mini van, killing Philip John Hess, 43, of Oklahoma City, and his daughter, Alexandria Delfast Rose Hess, 2.

Also killed was a female passenger in Blair's SUV; Tiffany Robin Valenzuela, 44, of Stillwater.

Blair also pleaded guilty to a 2015 incident where he admitted to ramming his vehicle into another vehicle.

Blair has previously spent time in prison for armed robbery.
